As our Canada goose mitigation program continues to see important gains, APLNJ has once again had to fill a void for birds in California. This time, it is a moral and humane catastrophe. Beginning in January, Governor Newsom and state legislators gifted duck hunting clubs with an open season on the graceful Mute swan.

An all-out massacre is now underway. Please read here for critical information. To stop this obscenity, Animal Protection League has retained attorneys in California and is taking ads. If you are able, any contributions will help.
