New Jersey’s Killing Calendar

We have again compiled data on the animals hunted and trapped in New Jersey. The number of days that hunters and trappers can kill wildlife with a battery of weapons defied belief.

Hunters and trappers comprise less than 0.4% of New Jersey residents, yet they hijack our state parks and forests, county parks and other wildlife areas for nearly the entire year.

You can view data here for a list of animals hunted and trapped in New Jersey and how many lost their lives during the last killing seasons.

Click here and see a calendar that shows the shocking amount of days hunting and/or trapping goes on in our state.

APLNJ uses the information when speaking with state legislators and town officials. We suggest members do the same.

Our thanks to member Thea Landesberg for her hard work on this difficult project.
